School Security Guidelines
Marana Unified School District is highly security conscious. Any person(s) desiring to tour or visit our school campuses and/or classrooms are required to get prior approval from the individual school.  You will need permission from one of the following persons:  Principal, Associate Principal, Classroom Teacher. Tours and/or classroom visitations must not interrupt the educational process.  Most campus tours are conducted after school hours.  Classroom visitations are dependent on the activity(s) that may be planned by the classroom teacher.  No visitations are allowed during testing. All classroom visitations are at the courtesy of the classroom teacher and must be conducted in such a manner that is least disruptive to all students and the educational process.

What to expect when you arrive at the school
When you arrive at the school:
  • Park in designated visitor areas only.
  • No smoking or drinking is allowed on school property (State Law).
  • No weapons of any kind are allowed on campus (State Law).
  • Enter only at the main entrance of the school and notify the receptionist of your arrival.
  • You will be asked to sign in.
  • You will be asked to show picture identification.
  • You will be given a visitor's badge which will be worn during the duration of your school visit.
